Exhaust swap
Hey guys i need some advice. I have a guy willing to sell me his aftermarket headers xpipe and catback exhaust off his 2004 coupe. Will my stock stuff from my 2000 coupe work on his 2004 coupe? He also has led tail lights and a k&n filter. All for $500 plus my old stuff and i do the uninstall and reinstall. Sounds like a good deal but i need to know if my stuff will work. Thanks guys Ted

You will have a problem with interferance with the AIR tube and engine oil dipstick and tube, both on passenger side. Other than that, no problem. You can / could swap out the dipsticks and tubes, and AIR pipe, but just know that swapping the AIR pipe requires removal of the intake manifold.
Lastly, unless your '00 coupe was sold new in California or the north eastern United States, it does not have the pre/pup cats, that came on all '01 to '04 LS1 equipped C5s. Not sure if that will create an emissions inspection problem in your area of the country, just something to be aware of.
