Thank you for purchasing your new Chrome and Black Chrome accessories from Custom Corvette Accessories. We trust you will enjoy these products for years to come! We have put together a few recommendations that we strongly suggest that you follow for all your Chrome and Black Chrome parts. Chrome and Black Chrome are not indestructible and are subject to environmental and man made impact, such as Acid Rain, Salt, road and automotive chemicals. These type of atmospheric and man made chemicals will damage your new parts and are not covered under manufacture defects or defects in workmanship.
Please follow these simple instructions to help protect your new accessories.
Tips for Chrome and Black Chrome Accessories
1) Seal your new parts with a quality sealer. CCA recommends the following products:
Zaino Z2 Pro http://www.zainostore.com/
Rejex http://www.rejex.com/rejex.html
ZoopSeal http://www.zoops.com/zoopseal.asp
This will help protect them against the elements
2) Make sure you get all the finger prints off the accessories before sealing them.
3) Do not use any chemicals to clean your Chrome and Black Chrome, especially wheel or chrome cleaner. These type chemicals will permanently damage your new accessories.
4) Do not use waxes or polishes on your Chrome and Black Chrome. Be aware that many over the counter waxes have cleaners and mild abrasives in them and will damage your finish.
5) To maintain your Chrome and Black Chrome accessories, dust with a clean soft micro-fiber towel or duster. Wipe with a damp cloth, Foaming Windex or Denatured alcohol. For items that are very dirty, use mild, diluted soap and water.
