I had this same issue. The way my painter explained it was that because of the flex of the rubber nose, he would recommend a repaint only once. With more than one repaint, it was his experience that the paint would spiderweb more easily due the paint buildup. Also, for the amount of time to prep a repaint properly, it wasn't that much more to just go ahead and replace the nose. I ended up just replacing the whole nose.
Just as an aside, after I had it redone and lookin' good again, some f****r backed into it and scratched it up pretty good. They left the scene, so I have no idea who done it. Sometimes you just can't win.
the dealer can get you the screens or you can get them from your body shop (who will get them from the dealer). as for the spider cracks, a repaint shouldnt be a problem.
One of the front vent screens on my Z was damaged when I hit a cat.
you're supposed to shoot them...tastes like chikkin.
i just had my front end repainted from rock chips 6 weeks ago and the other day i had the clear bra installed to protect the paint. right now it is setting in the sun to evaporate all the moisture from the install, have heard a lot of good reports on this protection package.
