Default Rear Wheels Spacers

Does anyone know where I could find spacers for the rear wheels (a little less than an inch maybe). I would like to see the stock wheels flush with the body of the rear fender, does anyone have any pics of your cars like this, with the thinkspokes preferably? thanks

I don't have pics but I got my spacers at Pep Boys. It is a multi-fit car spacer. It works great on mine and I think it gives me a 3/4 inch extra space.

did you need to get new bolts?? It doesnt look like I would be able to get the lug nuts on with a big spacer

I used 5/16 spacers on my buddies car to bring them flush with the wheel well. They were from napa. The only problem is the holes are elongated and you have to make sure the spacer is centered on the lugs or you will get a vibration.

YES you need new ARP studs and hardened lug nuts if you use spacers.

I run a 3/8" CCW spacer on ARP studs,

Bought my first set there before flaring the fenders. Did not need longer bolts and flushed the tires pretty well.

Doug has 5/8" spacers and the hi strength lug studs to go with them. The cheapie fit all ones from the auto stores are not a good idea for a wide spacer. The hi strength lugs are needed also. Check the search deal on how to drill the holes in the backing plates so you don't have to take apart the hub to install them. I run them on the front of my vert to clear the big calipers.

you're saying you put on a 3/4" spacer and used stock wheel studs and the wheel still bolted on?

The spacers I bought were from pep boys and I had no problem with bolts. I do not remember how thick they were but it flushed the wheel and tire very nice. After I did my flared fenders I bought 18x12 wheels and bought a spacer with built in studs. I will try to find my old spacers in the garage and see how thick they were but my stock botls had plenty of thread. Perhaps the original owner had longer studs put in?

You will need to dremel off the last 1/4" of your hub bolts for this adapter to fit. (the last 1/4" is unthreaded anyway - and will not affect you in the future.)

This process will add about 45 minutes to your job, but is easy enough.

so you did this with the stock wheels? do you happen to have any pictures of how far the wheel sticks out with the 1" spacer?

This is what you need It is a 1 inch adaptor which bolts to the hub ,then the Wheel bolts to it . they are hub centric and lug centric for perfect alignment . Here they are on my car with stock size C6 wheel, Flush with fenders no clearance problems. They are available from Riggedup-Adaptors aircraft aluminum 59.95 for the pair .

Hope this help you out Check out the web site..

Are you using spacers on the front wheels too,or just the rears?

I have the same C6 wheels. The fronts look ok,but the rears need to
be spaced to be flush with the body.
