Mine is mounted on a custom built bracket and sets between the seats in the coupe. Antanna in mounted on back end on a special bracked. Will try to take some pics tomorrow and post.
I have the Cobra 75WXST cb and love it. The box is under the waterfall and just the cable to the handset which is the cb radio is exposed. Check it out lots of other Vette guys have this radio and it's gets rid of the where do I put it stuff.
I only use mine when on road trips with our club, but I just let it sit on the console and use it as an arm rest. I thought about getting the handheld Cobra mentioned above but the reviews I got from others using it said the sound and clarity quality just wasn't there. When I am not using it I just set it behind the passenger seat. I also have a custom antenna mount that uses the screws for the license plate holder.
Hey don't knock it!! When you are in a line of Corvettes and cruisin' through some fantastic scenery it's great having the CB. It's like a huge conference call and there are no interruptions since no one else has CB's anymore. And the clarity of the 75WXST is better than some of the old CB's that used to be around.

and now so does my wife after using it on a group trip, she could talk and hear the other wives and guys talk. Was really great fun. She originally questioned the need, because we could always "use the cell phone", but now she freely admits the CB is fun on these trips.
