I have a Garmin, but I use the windshield mount. I read that once the dash mount disk is set on the dash it does not come off. The suction mount will come off, but you are stuck with that mounting disk still on your dash or console.
With the simple suction cup on the actual mount it releases from the windshield and there is do indication it was ever there.

some neat mounting ideas, to everyone that complains about the wires these arent that hard to hardwire into the car so you just have a little plug sticking out where you plug it in and wire it into the car so it comes on and off with the key
