I have an 02 c5 with non-runflats and was wondering what do you guys with non-runflats carry in your car incase of a flat? I know that fix-a-flat will destroy your TPMS which are anywhere from $70-$90 so what does everyone carry?
I carry ~$30 in stuff I picked up at Pep Boys; part of the setup is a small air compressor and a bottle of the green goo, the other part is one of those plug kits. I'd most likely use the plug kit and the air compressor, and then the goo if all else failed. I can always have them remove the tire when repairing it and clean off the pressure sensor myself.
I signed up for the warranty when I bought my goodyear eagle f1's, which included free towing and repair on flats, and a reduced price on a replacement if the sidewall got fubar'd, so I probably wouldn't use the kit unless absolutely necessary.
Sensors for your car are $37.84 brand new (GMpartshouse) http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2044078
and you can find them for under $25 used here on the forum. So if you had to use tire sealant it's not going to break the bank. I've got the compressor that Tire Rack sells and the tire sealant that goes with it. I also have a tire plug kit, a cell phone, and a AAA card. So I think I've got it covered. I switched from the stock OEM tires to non runflats when the car had about 4800 miles on it. I'll never go back to runflats.

When I had non-runflats, I had a plug kit and a portable air compressor in the car. You probably would want a low profile jack (scissors or the Mercedes jack that has been posted about here). It's also a good idea to have a cell phone handy and even emergency road service on your car insurance.
portable compressor, tire plugs and repair kit, rubber gloves, needle nose pliers, folding lug wrench, flashlight, snips and an aluminum floor jack.
the funny thing is that the TPMS always tells me when i have a leak, so i always know if there is an issue beforehand. unless there was a catastrophic blowout, i have plenty of advance warning that i picked up a nail, so i shouldn't really even need to carry all that stuff...i've been thinking of pulling the jack.
in my nearly 5 years of owning this car, i've picked up plenty of nails and repaired them before they could cause a flat...but i've never actually had a flat.
