Had mine installed today and they do sound just like the borlas, just a little bit quieter. I will try to get a sound clip tomorrow and post it up. And these actually helped with my bucking/surging issue w/ my big cam; I removed my bb prt catback and replaced it with this one.

But I like the NSP tips much more than the Borla tips I had.

I installed the system on my C5 two months ago and love the system, however, with mine being a six speed I had the popping on down shifting so I installed X-Pipe that I purchased from a Forum member and it makes this a much better system. My sister has the system her C5 automatic trans and does not have the popping.

Holy schnilkies! Just installed these and I am amazed at how good they are. Sound and look awesome and the tips lined up perfectly. I'll post an install thread later.

I am waiting for these to arrive on Friday.. Can't wait to install them to see what the fuss is all about.

I am currently running straight pipes, and I am tired of the dump truck soud these make..

Hopefully these will improve and be what I was looking for?

I will get back with pics after I install these

I plan to order one of these systems very soon for my 02 A4. I wold like to also get an x-pipe to go along with the system...Will any x-pipe do or would you guys recommend one from Borla, since this system is so much like the stingers? I am thinking, go with the Borla x-pipe.

thanks

Any x-pipe should do. They all bolt up the same to the flange of the cat-back system -- there may just be differences in where you have to cut the front end in.

Default Received the NXT Step Catback-

Received the catback 2 weeks ago.. Haven't gotten a chance to install it.. " Bad Weather" ... Any ways... Here are a couple of shots of the catback in the wrapping . I took with the good old iphone.

The box was kinda beat up... But everthing is in tact... The packaging and the buble wrap help everything stay in place and not get all banged up..

Well made catback with excellent welds, and the tips are second to none.

I'll post some shots after I install it this week hopefull.. Weather permitting.
Overall its great quality build.

Paid $550 shipped to my door step..
