The box was kinda beat up... But everthing is in tact... The packaging and the buble wrap help everything stay in place and not get all banged up..

Well made catback with excellent welds, and the tips are second to none.

I'll post some shots after I install it this week hopefull.. Weather permitting.
Overall its great quality build.

Paid $550 shipped to my door step..

Is it just me, or does this sytem look different than the system in thread #1? Looks like not as many parts and the tips are on the wrong end, or is this just the way the put it in the box for shipping?

No, No the intermediate pipes where in the top partition of the same box, they are not in the pictures, but they do came in the box .

At the time I took the picture, I had those on the side...

Everything was there, including those sucky band clamps that I already have tried using but are worthless .

Default Nxt step exhaust

I have been researching aftermarket exhaust systems for my '99 coupe. I really like the nxt step system and was wondering, if there is another source besides the e-bay store. I'm looking for the best price.

I don't know for sure but I read somewhere on this forum that they are the same as another name brand ( slp maybe ?) They were on mine when I purchased it last September. I love how they sound.

Nice pipes. While you have them apart, take that pesky muffler out of the equation

I sure do like mine! Take your time on the installation and you'll end up with a really great looking and awesome sounding set of pipes. I used clamps I purchased from JEGS. They're a dual band clamp with a very unique single nut for tightening. Spendy but worth it. Had I known I would have ordered a 2 1/4" from the manufacturer as the 2 1/2s are almost too big. I think JEGS might be ordering the wrong size from the manufacturer????
You'll love `em
JEGS numbers 2 1/4" 555-30801
2 1/2" 555-30802

From what I heard a while back, there was a member here that got together with NXT Step and put together a group buy with the auction seller for a discounted price on this system and got banned by the moderators for doing so.

Kind of crappy if you aske me. But hey, it's "their" site and not ours.

These are made in China and NXT is a distributor from what I understand. I got mine from Granatelli Motor Sports,
exactly the same ,even came in the same kind of beat-up box from China

Here is a link with an installation video

I've had mine on since 5/08 and still love 'em

Thanks for posting all of this. That's awesome! Is this entire system stainless? Can the mufflers be polished out like a mirror? (the way you did with the Borla).

Entire system is SS. You could certainly polish the cans as I did on the Borlas.
