I've has the panel off probably 4 or 5 times over the years and what a pain in the butt it is to get back on. That crazy temp sensor is the goofiest setup.....I tell ya, every time I finally get that thing back in it's pure blind luck. Mind you, I'm not removing the stereo surround so I suppose it makes things that much tougher.
On an upside, just installed the hyperflash correction relay for my Black Cherry LED tails and that relay is a no-brainer to install. That d**mn panel however..........
I've done a few in the last month and always seem to have that one darn nut plate at the bottom near the center console pop off! Boy can that be a pain to get back on and lined up so that screw goes back in!!
Hehe.. Mike, wait till you bust a clip on the cheap cover for the sensor.
Seriously tho, when did you develop hyperflash? Wasn't doing it the other day when I was behind you or in my drive.
I don't know why but it did.....particularly with the headlights on and the brake pedal at a turn. Ah well, already broke one of the clips on the vented cover( a tiny piece of 3M tape solves that one). Yep, that lower nut plate is fun rpm...........Bezel off is a breeze as DEE GEE says but didn't want to do the whole disassemble from back to front thing....
