ok so im in the process of uploading all the photos to my photobucket account right now. do you guys want the easy/ short way of installing the lights? if thats the case then i only have to upload a couple of pictures. have to say it looks awesome!! install was easy and only cost me the price of the lights! think it was 20 or 40$$.. so let me know if you want the short way (means you dont have to take off the door panel).

haha ok first of all no i am not stalking yamaho... she asked me to do that and i kept them up on photo bucket lol... i have a quick question... do the footwell lights shut off when its light/daytime out?? becuase they dont turn on now unless I turn the **** that turns on all the interior lights... not even the map light on the rear view mirror turns on in the day time... im not sure if it turned on before i never noticed... any ideas?? oh and thanks jdmvette for posting my pics!! btw these picutres dont do any justice... the lights look MUCH better in person!!! and they way they are place theres no bulbs or anyhting showing. i have seen those neon tubes on hondas and you can see the bulb... this looks factory lol!!
p.s.- do you guys want me to do a write up on this? step by step?

Where is the light located? It's hard to tell from the pics.
I agree... more pics!
It sure seems like a slick installation -- a bit more subtle than the typical glowing car bottom look, that's a bit too much, this is not quite so loud and in-your-face all the time. Might even give it a try, very nice!!! Thanks!!!
well i will gladly post a DIY kinda thing if more people are interested... and i would be glad to help anyone in the long island/queens area. i just need an answer to if the footwell lights and map light dont turn on during the daytime/ when its light outside... thanks.
when i was putting in the lights yesterday during the day the LED lights were on and the map light was on. now when i open the door during the day time there sno LED lights on or the map light..... no the LED stay on for about 30 seconds just like the regular footlights and map light.... but when i turn the knokb to turn on all the interior lights the lights turn on... thast why im askign if the lights dont turn on during teh day time??
I like this. And I agree with PeeBee_C5 about not being quite all in your face. In your first couple of posted shots do you just have the led strip laying on your floor mat? That's the only thing I can figure about those 2 pics.
yea those shots with the led strip on the floor mat were taken before i put them on... just wanted to see how they looked inside the car for another idea i have and might start on.
got the lights at autozone... i believe they were 20 or 10$$ each.. came with wiring and all thats all i paid for the install was the price of teh lights. they are 15" by pilot incase you wanted to know.
nevermind they work lol.. i went to unlock the door and checked and they are on.. let them shut off and they are on so its fine now...
so if anyone wnats me to do a DIY ill be glad to.. was easy to install and only cost me $40.... and again if you are in the long island/queens N.Y area ill be glad to meet up.
johnathan_W... the light is on the bottom of the door sill... between the two strips of weather stripping... its actually the perfect spot to place them...
