I know some of you must have some "fix" to keep dust and other particulate matter from collecting on black dashboards. It seems like we are dusting it off a couple of times a day (esp with top off). Is there any special cleaner, method to reduce dust collection on a black dash?
I carry a car cleaning kit in the trunk. It has Armor All wipes for the dash and a spray for the seats. It also have a bottle of window cleaner as well.

Short of keeping the top on and the windows up, just try using a California Dash Duster (mini version of the California Duster). It's what I used and it works great.

I've heard of wiping it down with fabric softener sheets. You know, the ones for your dryer. Their main purpose is to take the static out of the clothes in the dryer so they don't have so much static.
If you wipe your dash with one after you clean it I believe it creates a + or - charge (whichever one repels the dust) so that dust isn't attracted to it.
i could be wrong but i remember seeing a little Filter like screen that goes under the hood infront the wind shield on the drivers side, i think the air that goes into the cabin comes from that vent. its some cheap little ebay filter i believe GSCreations sells it too. that should keep some/most of the junk out...
I use a California Duster, but I use the smaller version for the dash, instrument cluster, hud etc.
I use a cotton or micro-fiber towel dampened with mild soapy water to wipe the dash down when cleaning, and I sparingly use Meguires Shine - once a year or so when I think it is time.
