So how do they look?
First try at tinting using Nightshade.
They actually match color wise even though the one in front looks darker. I think it's from the angle of the flash.
They have a little orange peel on them but not enough that I'm going to redo them right now.

looks good, let's see pic on the car.
Member Tyler@stealthvettes paints them with a gun for a great price. I ordered mine and am waiting to get them. I'm paying $181 for the fronts, sides, all 4 tails, 3rd brake, and the reverse lights. He has a perfect blend he uses, and they are all polished up by the time you put them on your car... from what I have read.
The great thing too is that when the lights are on, you are hard pressed to even notice so you shouldn't get into trouble.
Just an FYI, you did a good job though,
John

Nightshade is a spray paint that you can buy at Auto zone and the like. You spray paint lenses for the blacked out look, but it is translucent enough to let light go through it.

Hmmm. $10 for the lights, $13 for the paint. All that's left to do is the third brake light with the same can.

Not bad at all. It's like any other spray paint.

Jeg's is the only place that carried it locally. No Advance, no NAPA, no anybody else.

1,000 grit wet and dry sandpaper followed by 2,000 grit if needed. I'd avoid thinner and other similar products or you might wind up with a pool of melted plastic.
Also works to remove the raised lettering.

Figured I could and might hit it with some 2,000 if the urge strikes. I'm trying to decide if clear coat is worth it.
That right side is a pain in the azz around the antenna. Found out the front nut is easier from underneath.
