Default Do wider wheels interfere with air ducts?

I am considering using OEM 18x10.5 Speedline wheels in the front with 295/30-18 tires. Will this interfere with brake cooling? Any other problems?

^^You might get some better responses over in the autocross/road racing section. A number of people who autocross and run HPDEs in their cars seem to like to run the Z06 rear rims (18 X 10.5) all the way around.

I don't think you will have any problems with the air ducts. Only real concerns are whether you will rub tires when you have wheels turned at full lock and if they stick out from fender well if you hit a bump.

I'm curious about this as well. I've got 18" C6Z06 replicas on the rear and have a spare set of rear 18" OEM C5Z06 rims that I want to stick on the front.

315s or larger will need to remove the inner part of the rear air duct

18x11 or larger rims.

No real big deal as the rear brakes don't really need the air ducts

In front just dont turn that tight.

I run 18x12 rims and 18x305 or 18x315 up front yes it would hit the brake cooling ducts if I turn real tight, so I dont turn real tight
