OH OH. My car was built on a Monday, October 8th. Seems to be holding up well though.

Rickko; did you see this throttle plate Z06 logo?
Yep, that was my question and YES, nice looking throttle plate!

I was asking about the LS6 logo because my '04 has it but my '02 didn't. I wondered if it had fallen off sometime ago or if '02s didn't come with it period.

Got my answer. My '02 is visually bone stock except for a skip-shift eliminator & hood seal. I plan to keep it that way so I wasn't sure if it needed the logo plate or not.

Thanks!

My 2002 EB Z came from GM with 2001 Z06 rims.
When I removed mine (built at end of Oct. 01) I noticed they are the SPEEDLINE wheels which I believe are the wheels put on most '02 Z06's.

My car, 26243, is not on the list as a build date. There is about 7 days there with no production numbers listed. I will assume it is a Friday car March 22 car. If it were built on Monday the March 25th, that would be my wifes birthday. Either way, my car is a Friday or Monday car.

Using extrapolation it was probably built mid-way through the day on the 21st since the 1st serial number out the door on the 20th was 25994.

If they built ~150 that day then the 1st serial number on the 21st would be about 26,114.

If they built another 150 on the 21st then the last number out the door on the 21st would have been 26,246 which is three units past your VIN.

Since its so close to yours I guess you've got to make the guess but I'd lean toward the 21st since they were averaging about 152-153 per day up till this period though I used 150 in estimate above.

But it's all good 'cuz now you can have a drink on the 21st to your car then more on your wifes birthday!

Here's to you both!

Your car was assembled on October 30th ..... your door sticker only shows the month and year assembled ... this gives you the actual day.

Cool. According to the registry, mine was the 424th '03 to be built. 6/26/02 (Mine has the throttle body plate by the way.)

Do you have to be a member to find this information? I'm trying to find it on there but I'm having no luck... Anybody got a link for a fellow CF'er?
