Default Lost my virginity

Driving home on Saturday got caught in a lightening & thunderstorm and the car got soaked. Found out the car actually has working wipers and didn’t melt.

Your lucky. The manual specifically states on page 16:

"Do not drive your vehicle in the rain, melting may occur"

I think it continues to say that there might be excessive flooding in the vehicle also if driven in the rain.

I should check my wipers & see if they are actually hooked up...In 5 years I've never had um on. If my car got rained on I'd sell it

Some one on the CF got caught in the rain and posted this picture of their car with serious rain damage. Sorry I can't remember their name for giving credit - its not my car.

I was very lucky, I experienced rain on the second day of my trip home from the purchase. The first day of the trip was beautiful, the second day included four hours of rain. JimFRC had a very good coat of wax and Rainx on the car as when I stopped for the night it didn't look dirty and hadn't melted either. Where is the luck? I can now not worry about rain.
