That sounds pretty good to me, holy, only 3200 miles? Wow, sounds really good!
You buying another Z16?
I sold my '02 Z06 a few years ago and replaced it with an '04 CE Coupe with an auto. Not a smart move.. So now with the Z16 I would have all the bases covered

I see, read your profile too quick, it was a coupe you had...you will freak out with the Z16, I guarantee that

The coupe is no turtle either.. I have got a Maggie on it with a 3.42 rear end and 2800 stall. And honestly, never really grew fond of the glass bubble in the back of the car and I really miss shifting gears..

I have been following asking and actual selling prices of Z16's for the past year. I waited for the perfect car at the right price and finally bought my Z16 about 3 months ago.
Assuming this Z16 is perfect, has a clean CarFax, AutoCheck and Dealer Service history, I would say that $35K is a very reasonable price in today's market. This sounds like an even better deal than I got on mine.
Sounds like a good deal but just keep this in mind - voice of reason here. Don't pay premium on a low mileage car that you are going to promptly add miles to. If you're gonna buy one to look at, that's another thing. But if you plan to drive it (eh gads!) or mod it (meet my sister Maggie...) then why put big bucks in something based on low miles. IMHO a car with 15 ~ even 20K on the clock is a perfect example to buy, drive and/or mod.
From your post it sounds like you've been around a block or three in these cars - just wanted to toss in my two cents.

Great advice but what is this thing you refer to as the voice of reason? I did look at higher mileage cars but none really seemed to have been cared for very well and believe it or not, most Z16s had been modified in some fashion. Not that mods are bad when done with taste but I really wanted a bone stock car. This car doesn't even have the skip shift installed. Now its gonna be a toss up for which car to keep.
we got our Z16 last November bone stock 5000 +- miles with a cover and all the paper work license plate brackets etc. and a vera ram in a box, for 36K it is our 3rd c5 and we love it. so 35k sounds good.

Thanks for all of the comments and advice. After some long deliberations #1239 is in the garage. In the end, I really didn’t mind paying more for a car that was taken care of extremely well. The car’s overall condition is a fine tribute to his attention to detail. And most importantly, my forum name once again matches my ride, well at least one of them
