GPS/NAV unit install.
i did have to drill a little hole for the mount, but i dont regret it at all. its just a Magellan Maestro 4200...
i got a killer deal on it because of some "big spot" of dead pixles, but hey for $60 i can deal with the dead spots.
so what do you guys/gals think?

Ive always thoughtthat was a great spot to mount somthing...
Youd be doing the same thing looking dow if it were in the Bezel....

I got it for $60 off of ebay, "Notice the thumb size dead pixle spot" its not exactly perfect.
for power i just unclip it and put it in the console to charge off of that cigarette light location.
i might look into splicing into and hard wiring it someday but that leeds to the last question
Yes it is on the removable roof panel.

I use the "suction" mount with my GPS. I put it in close to the same spot on the "Clear" top. I only use mine for trips, so that works great. When it's not being used, it's not in the car in sight. One less reason for some jerk to break into my car to steal something.
