So my passenger side headlight went out, no big deal. It looks easy to replace, just remove the black shroud and wiggle my hand in there, right? I just want to replace the bulb, its got the blue-ish color lights. Anyway, what are some bulbs you guys recommend?
Sylvania Silverstarts seem to be the straight replacement bulbs that get the best write ups. You can pick those up at an auto parts store. I've also seen some members say good things about HID bulbs from the Auction site. My son tried those in his Camaro and they worked well. Brighter light and whiter. The downside was they were pricey and didn't last very long at all.
When it comes to important euipment for my car, Im all about quality over quantity. I dont mind paying a little more as long as they last a while. Ive heard good things about the sylvanias.
HIDs are the way to go. Brighter is safer. You can get them on the auction site for about 80 bucks shipped. All HIDs work the same, ballast and bulb. The difference is the price. Got mine with a 14 month warranty for bulbs and ballasts.
There is a HUGE difference in going to HID replacements. This is one of the best mods that I have done and it makes a big difference in light output. I bought mine from DJmotorsports here on the forum, go to the for sale section and Davis will take care of you.
