Radio install questions
I am considering purchasing a new radio for my 99 C5, its a dual din dvd reciever with a 7in screen. Currently have the stock radio, the factory bose system. Wanted to know how hard the install is? Will I need to make any modifications? And if anyone knows where I can get instructions on how to install it myself with out demolishing my dash.

The idea for a double DIN is the same but you'll need to modify your bezel to take the 2XDIN size unit. C5 Kidd modifies bezels and there are a few others on the Forum who will do the mod for you. I'm afraid that for a Double DIN, dash demolishing is a given

You will cut up not only bezel but the mounting cae as well
BEzel will need to be modified to fit the double din head unit

after bezel is done...not eyou will need to loose ashtray in most cases(recommended

you will also need to cut the brackets out of the mounting cage
I had the help of two forum memebrs for the rest of the install
read up in audio section and you can find alot of info i can also assist on bezel info as well
