Side spear removal?
I love the look of c5s without side spears but has anyone had problems with paint discoloration after pulling theirs off. It is an artic white 2000 daily driver if that makes any difference.

In 5 years I can think of only two posts where there was a problem and both were because the door had been resprayed and the shop hadn't removed the BSMs before painting.
Most have no trouble although finally getting rid of the adhesive sounds like loads of fun.
Fishing wire or dental floss and a hairdryer sounds like the way to go. Saw towards the BSM and away from the door.
The good news is the pro and anti lobbies are split 50/50. You'll probably be able to sell then when you're done.
