Ugh...looks like i'll just have to find other "easy" projects to start learning off of.
The Air Smoother...(replaces the "accordion") could be a good start? Not looking for a 234jar-.987 Horsepower increase, but something that wouldn't hurt if I did it and is a good starting point.

The smooth coupler is worth purchasing, as a cosmetic mod only. It will not increase horsepower but they do look nicer
Quick question though...I also bought the "Dual Air Cold Air Intake" as well. How do you feel about those? Also, should I get the (I dare not call it "performance") hood seal to keep rainwater away from it?

The dual cone intake is ok, not my personal choice but they work fine.
The "Performance hood seal" is once again a great mod, as long as you consider it a "Keeps your engine cleaner" mod, it wont give you any horsepower but it defenetily (IMO) keeps things looking nicer under the hood.
It sounds like you are new to the Vette Mods, please feel free to call me anytime if you want advice on the best way to start or if you want advice on which mods to buy. I enjoy going over things and helping people not get ripped off buying the BS that is avaliable out there.

The "cold air" part of the Dual cone intake is a misnomer. It does allow more air to be sucked into the engine, but it still sucks in the hot air from the engine compartment. If you would like to help maximize the dual cone intake, I would suggest replacing the fog light housing with ones that are screened. That would allow more outside air to be ingested into the engine. I will try and post a link to these screens.
