When I inquired about this product back when I first bought my car even the sales guy on the phone told me not to waste my money on it.

I installed one of these with a smooth coupler and now I can leave for work 5 min.s late and get there 5 min.s early. Also I find it necessary to siphon excess gasoline from my tank.

There was a vendor at the CF Cruise In selling a like item for 35 or 40. I don't think to many were sold. I think a port and polish would do better because basically all this chunk of plastic does is the same thing, but it also reduces the diameter of the TB.

YAY! Here's to wasting money!

I bought it. Yes I did. However, the reason why I bought it was because I gotta get my feet wet with the "modding" game. I'm a complete novice and I needed easy projects to get my confidence up and start building my knowledge of the Vette!

You think this would atleast be a good starter project?

No negatives, but I can't see paying $40+ for a 50 cent piece of plastic. That aside, good luck with your modding!

Thanks guys (minus Vegas-boy)!

It's interesting how they can advertise all these "HP Bonuses", when they're clearly not true. Turbonator...

I think that it should make for a pretty cool project for me to do in my spare time.

I also got the dual cone air intake. You think that I should get the hood seal to keep rainwater out from hitting the cones?

Guys please do not waste your hard earned cash on products like this.

Unless you are making serious Horsepower, there is no reason to touch anything between your cold air intake and your Intake manifold.

As for the product above, there is a serious negative to it, putting anything inside of your intake that has nothing between it and your cylinders if it fails structurally is a BAD idea.
