Column Lock
I read the list of fixes but I think mine is different.
Its a 2002 Z06 and while it was getting a H/C kit it had the service column lock come on. It all ready had the column lock fixed at the dealer by the first owner. So the warning is still on but I can drive the car and don't get the fuel shut off.
Is this the fix i need to do? I got this from the help list.
4)MN6/M12 cars only - go into your passenger footwell, locate the relay added by the recall mod, remove the relay altogether and bypass the circuit as described below (my choice).

Sounds like you have one of the earlier recalls. There were three (4006 A B and C). Its 4006C that reflashes the computer with the fuel shut off.
If you're still driveable get a column lock bypass and it'll solve all your problems.
