I bought the kit from the forum vendor for $20 for hood, doors and trunk. The doors and trunk are the same size. The screws for the hood are a different size, but I think it was a depth problem. I would like to try the pro-dec stuff. Anyone know off-hand how many are under the hood?
I'm trapped at work or I'de be out there counting them for you.
I don.t know about that, But the license plate screws might benifit from some nice covers... The "Kappet" series might be a good idea for them and the Hatch screws....
Brudda, where you find this stuff?!? You got a team of kane's searching the internet. (wahine's mo betta!) I'm ordering up some off white to see if they go with the SW.
Menehune, you know da kine bra?
Keep it up Michael and I might even start missing Poi!!!!! I already feel the tug of the currnet at Nanakuli.... Awww the good ole days!
BTW I did send them an EMail asking for some samples of the various colors and got no response.
Got my stuff from Pro-dec and got them on under the hood. Not an easy fit as the washers do not move much. Here is the best pics I could get:

I got some red ones to try on the tailights, but the caps are too big to use. I am not sure hol these would do for the doors and trunk as they are recessed in their own ring. It is a noticable improvement for the engine area (don't look at my dirty engine as it rained last week during my track day at Lowes Speedway). I will do the other side.
Hey those look good! Are they plastic? They look like chromed metal...
I can see where they are compressing the weatherstripping...What size did you use? I know with the Hatch screws the washer is attached to the screw, is the Hood area the same?
They are electroplated chrome. They only have one size that is supposed to fit a #6 or #8 screw. They look a lot better in person than what the pics show. They would fit better if I could get the washer off the screws. But if you do the drain cover mod on the hood pad, these would match up well with that. I am not sure how these would work with the hatch and door because of the type of screw and ring used. I may try to make it work seeing I have these already.

I tried 5 local area Lowe's and none stocked the gasket so I bit the bullet and purchased it online. Still cheaper than most aftermarket suppliers and I'll end up with 16 feet I can "pay forward" to another owner in my area.
I appreciate the tip. Did mine Saturday and went to a gathering on Sunday. Everyone there that saw it loved them. Gaveaway a couple of packs I bought extra.
Painted mine to match the car Pewter and they standout in a good way.
Getting the bigger ones to do under the hatch and the smaller ones to do the one on sideseals under the hood.
Thanks again. Better than those nasty old screws. Gives it a finished look.
Sorry I should have taken some pics.
Got mine from Home Cheapo, SKU #479-235, bag of 3 for $0.62. They're in the fastener aisle, speciality drawer MH1 (Hinged Screw Covers), #6 Black. I've got a couple left over that I'll try it with to see which I like the best, BLACK or PEWTER. If I decide to do "BLACK-OUTS" I'll keep them as is but I'm still wrestling with the legal issues of having black-outs. I don't want to "paint a bulls eye" on my car. The cops already follow me all over town for no apparent reason.
