I am planning (and collecting) several mods to be done at one time. I have visited with Anthony at LG Motorsports and want to hear from y'all to see if anyone has done this and what I can expect in gains...
I currently have a bone stock 2003 coupe with 2.73s
My plan is the following...
I picked up a 3.15 differential from another Forum Member
LS6 intake
LG Street headers and high flow cats
Corsa touring cat backs
And a tune from LG to bring it all together...
However I suggest that if you are going to pay the labor for the gear swap you should go with 3:42s instead of the 3:15s.
You can pick up a used 3:42 pumpkin and sell the 3:15 so the added cost will only be a couple hundred bucks and the added enjoyment will be worth a ton.

I will take that under consideration. I failed to state that I was swapping the TC for a stock GM truck converter (Gm part # 24208645). I think Mike Mercury has a thread out there saying that it will bump the stall up 3 - 500 RPMs over stock. I do not want a high stall seeing it is a daily driver. With the TC swap and the 3:42s I think your right about the "fun factor" going up.
If you are running 3:42s, are you still getting good gas mileage?

Mileage is about the same.
