Here is what you need to know for the tire sizes available from Michelin.
265/40/17 822 revolutions per mile
295/35/18 797 revolutions per mile
275/40/17 814 revolutions per mile
315/30/18 817 revolutions per mile
Going with the 275 isn't bad but if you go with the available 315 you will have Traction Control problems as the front tire is turning slower than the rear. No tuner worth his salt will tell you he can solve that problem as they have no access to the EBCM programming.

Will you have traction control problems if you run 275/40 front and 305/35 rear? I want to go bigger but I don't want to throw things off too bad.

No, however speedometer and odometer will read about 2% less than actual speed or mileage. Many people running the 275/40-17 front 315/30-18 rear combo report no problems with AH or TC.

285X30X19 front 305X30X19 rear. I couldn't get 265 or 275 front in the combination I ordered. I think the 285 in the front is a little too wide, they don't rub, however they do wander in highway ruts. I'm going to raise the rear about 1" because the ride is a little too rough and I think the rear should be as high or a little higher than the front.

Is this something that can be changed in the computer so it reads the proper speed based on the tire sizes you go with?
