Default Post Dyno sheet & Mods

Well i see alot of claims of some really crazy dyno numbers with no mods or just one or two things done to Z06's. So lets see some dyno sheets and what mods youve done to your ride. State if youve also put it on the rollers if the car was hot or cold because that does and will in most cases make a difference. This thread is really for me to get an idea of what works and doesnt on the C5Z and with the right mods how much you can get up to. Also state what kind of dyno your Z was on that also plays a big part as well sometimes in the numbers, thanks in advance.

Mods on sheet 437 - 402

Diferent dyno 2 weeks later( Mustang shop dyno day ) The 428 he let out at @ 6500 440 was let out at @ 7000
We didnt log the TQ as it was too erratic. It peaked however at 463

I will do another run when I am finished tuning it. A few other tuners looked at my files and believe ther is another 10 rwhp in there after tuning the cruise cells and getting the AF where I want it. The I will make the run with the 250 shot on it.

628/638 rwhp/tq

dry 150 shot on a 408ci, 243 heads (small), 236/244 on 114 (small), AR 1 7/8 headers, stock Ti, RAM Twin Disc clutch, stock trans/rear.

motor is built to take whatever I want to spray so I will try 200 and 250 in my search for 750/800 or so. going to wet shot as well.

It put down 510/480 NA but the timing is backed way down for spray right now.

384 rwhp is a really good number especially with those mods. So i dont think you have much to worry about either way thanks for posting the numbers.

These posts always amuse me because so many (most) folks are completely cluless on dynos and results.. Comparing results is like comparing oranges to apples.. And yes I too used to be cluless
Remember:
Different dynos ie.. makes/models give different numbers
The same dynos give different numbers. Depending on calibration, smoothing settings.. Dyno Operator makes his own descision on Dyno claibration.
The same dynos with different operators give different numbers
Dyno calibration settings vary and can be changed from SAE to Standard by the operator, giving totally different dyno numbers
Altitude, humidity, temperature can have a huge effect on dyno results when not using SAE corrected settings
/ Speed shops can exaggerate numbers by using certain calibrations to inflate thier numbers ( A happy client will come back if his numbers look good). Sad but true some People lie or exaggerate on this forum
Dyno Jet SAE corrected rwhp on a Stock LS1 A4= 280-290 6spd 300-310
Best thing to do is stick with the same operator and same Manufacturer/model Dyno from Bone stock - all modifications
Don't rely on what others say about THEIR cars output based on the above information I have provided.. I've seen bone stock numbers from 270rwhp to 360rwhp (LS1) depending on the above... Unfortunately no one knows to post all the above information when they post their dyno numbers... Its all a big joke, unless the poster knows the answers to all these questions or knows exactly what the operator of the dyno is using, which is critical when comparing with others... Like I said its like comparing apples and oranges
