AC Light Flashing
My ac was working fine last time I used the car, approx 6 wks ago.
I got the car out the other day, turned on the ac and the light flashes then goes out and I get no cold air.
Any ideas?
I presume it could be low refigerant pressure but wondered if anyone else had any thoughts.
Thanks

I am pretty sure the flashing light means it is low on refigerant.

1) What does your external temp reading say? Is it correct?
2) How long does the light flash before it goes out?
3) Any codes in the DIC? P0530,P1545,B0333?
Check it out and let us know.
Could be a temp sensor, or A/C clutch circuit, or low ref.

If the OAT sensor is dead and it thinks its cold outside it will inhibit the AC. The cut off is 34 degrees. What does the temp reading say?
Its not been cold enough in UK today to give you a flashing AC

The external temp reading is correct.
The AC light flashes a few times (haven't counted) but think 2-3 times before it goes out.
Not pulled the codes yet, will do tomorrow.
Thanks Guys.

#10248414, about $10 at the dealer. Very common part for almost all GMs.
