Finally got around to installing my painted hoodliner. I think it came out pretty good, even in this crummy cell phone pic:

Nice job, did you do that with paint pens? if so what brand? I bought a decal to install on mine, but after seeing some posts stating that their decal has fallen off, I'm thinking about painting mine. Keep up the great work!!!!! David

I started by spray painting several coats of flat black over the entire liner (after I brushed the liner clean and removed dirt/dust build up). Then I got some paint pens from Hobby Lobby (Treehouse I think was the brand -- $2.99 each). Took about 6 coats from the paint pens to arrive at the desired level of color saturation. Total cost was under $10, as I already had the black spray paint

Thanks for the info, I just re-installed the painted black hoodliner.(that made a big difference) Off to grab some pens tomorrow.
