Default Drag Racing drivetrain questions

I just got an 02 ZO6 and was curious what it would take to "bulletproof" the drivetrain with 600rwhp on M/T Drag Radials? Do I just need a clutch, DTE brace, and halfshafts? Or is there more to it than that? And would the ET Streets be better or the drag radials? Probably going to buy an extra pair of stock 17" wheels for the track. Thanks

Also available is a beefier drive shaft with solid TT bushings,300m mainshaft for the trans,or a complete bullit proof trans from G-Force,RPM etc, billet bearing supports for the diff.with hardened output shafts and lastly 300M half shafts from Mark Williams or The Drive Shaft Shop! $$$

Not sure if any setup in really bulletproof in drag racing. I thought I was set..new PRS clutch, RPM tranny, DTE brace, both hardened shafts, & new RPM 30 tooth /390 Diff. During the past 24 months.. the new Stage 4+ clutch went, then a syncronizer ring in the tranny (orig tranny), then the 2nd replacement clutch went, then I dropped a valve, then my new diff went..I probably have only had the damn thing on the road for 6 of the 24 months.

Some people run for years and only break an output shaft. I must confess, I go all out with what ever I do (I don't mean money and parts)..I just run my stuff hard. I am coming out at 6800 prm..you don't need to do that to have fun and still run pretty fast. It's just I see guys pulling 1.4 sixty foot times with the same car so I have to try the same. Not too smart but I do have fun trying. The fun part to me is the launch and first 1/8 mile..after that it is just waiting on the gears to wind out...now if you had 600-700 rwhp..the whole run might be exciting !!
Go try it...just come out a little easy and it should all hold together. The vette is built to run...go run it !!

The problem is we sound very similar haha! I have drag raced forever and I hate to lose or "launch easy" I am sure I will learn some expensive lessons along the way

as far as I know there is nothing thats "bullet proof" for our drivetrains.

the advice, and parts list, you've gotten so far will deff. beef-up your driveline but the major factor in determining whether or not you will break anything, ultimately, will be you. If you've been drag racing as long as you say then I;m sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.
