When I bought my 2001 at Corvettes of Houston a year ago I had them put in a CAGS. Now I am getting an intermittant Check Engine light! Checked the codes and it was for the 1-4 shift. I have seen threads that mention that the CAGS may be fried or at least defective. Any ideas?
I had the same problem a couple weeks back. I called C.O.H and they wanted me to mail the defective unit back to them. They had mentioned a bad connection inside the unit. I'm waiting on the new unit now. Frustrating seeing the Check Engine Light. When I reconnected the stock CAGS the check engine light went off after 2 cruises. Goodluck.
The gas cap input (above) is valid for many cars -- as in my wife's Honda "check engine light" two days ago -- but, doesn't apply to a Vette with this specific error code.
