Nice car but I wouldn't give up the vette for it. Can you find a way to have both?

I am working on having both, but need to refinance the house first and we all know how that market is going right now. Wish me luck though!

If it were a '66 I'd say go for it.

Good luck, and you won't regret it. In '83 I purchased a 1969 Camaro Indy Pace Car. The car was pretty bad, but I restored it because everything was there. All the No.'s matched. Finished it in '88 and showed it for two years and have stored since then. Had it appraised last year, was told over $50k. I don't have $$ in the car. Best thing I ever invested in.

Don't waste time, lest someone running in and getting it before you. Your Z looks great, keep that pretty beast too...

I would much rather put gas in a Vette than a 396 Big Block.Thats one of the reasons I got rid of my Camaro. What ever floats your boat

The vette. The Chevelle is cool but its not a car I would go out of my way for (like selling a vette for it).

Keep the Vette

I came from a '66 Chevelle and have had an El Camino in the past that I would drive on the street and 1/4 drag race and let's say the Vette is far superior in all respects

And I loved my '66 Chevelle too!

Thanks,Matt

Yeah, my brother has a 69 Yenko Camaro and i'm trying to find something to go to hotrod shows with. My vette does ok but it would be more fun to have a rod.

Hi...I have a fully restored 66 Mustang GT 289 HiPo, and a modded
M6 00 Coupe...
While the Mustang gets more attention everywhere I go, the vette is much more fun to drive.....no comparison..
From a financial point of view, the C5 will continue to depreciate, while the Chevelle will become more valuable...But, the bottom line is which will you have more fun with? If I had to sell one of my cars, I'd let go of the Mustang first... try to keep both if you can, you won't regret it...
Good luck with your decision

To each his own.... I sold a 65 Plymouth Belvedere , bought a Vette,

1 way of looking at it>>>>

Here you go , drive home tonight and see how many Chevelle's you pass on the way....Then see how many vette's you pass!

2nd way of looking at it

Drive the Chevelle 80 miles an hour on the highway and then drive the Vette that speed.... Do like the handling of the vette more or do you want the ole speed ride, no air, etc.... YOUR CALL!!!! '

Ok, I think some of you are confusing what i'm saying. This car would be for shows ONLY. Not a DD! Yes i understand the vette is a whole different beast on the freeway, I get that! Yes, the vette corners better, I know! I am thinking long term here folks. What car am i gonna get a better return out of down the line? I would love to have both but not sure if thats in the books right now. I thought about just saying screw it and droping a monster cam in the vette along with some headers and making it a show car.

Very nice looking ride for sure!!! Talked to a auctioneer after selling my Plymouth , told him I'd probably never find another one like it.... His comment (You'd be surprised.... There's plenty of muscle cars on the market and they are not as scarce as people think.....)

You'll get a lot more use out of the Vette than the"hot rod".
