during initial developement for the AutoComp (was bought-out by a competitor before the finalized production run)... I tested about 12 C5's with AH. Most took 8 full seconds for the Comp Mode to be activated.

Make sure you're well versed in how to handle the car should you decide to turn off the active handling and/or traction control.
Take some professional driving courses where damage/injury may be reduced should you find out computers react quicker than you do.
There's way to many stories about "I wrecked my new car..." by new owners who think they're expert drivers because they own a performance car...
