So sad - and sadder still to read that the driver might not have had his seat belt in use. With the seat/shoulder belts and the supplemental inflatable restraints he might have survived.
I never move a vehicle without my seatbelts not only buckled, but snugged down.

My condolences to his family and friends.....
Seatbelts definitely save lives. I always buckle up.
My parents were hit head on in their mini van a few years ago by a work truck whose driver was hurrying to get back to the office at closing and turned directly into them. Had it not been for their seatbelts both would have been killed. Instead they escaped with a couple of broken ribs, bruising, and concussions. It's not always how you drive but the other driver you have to worry about.
Ihave owned vetts for 35 years now , but recently have seen to many deaths in them , i sold my last one a month ago , i will never own or drive another one again , in the rain there very dangerous and have little or no protection .
Did you check out this guys post above on that website. My guess is that he has never owned one in his life. I posted a rebuttal to his comment.
