I have been down that road numerous times. It's mostly commerical and residential especially closer the 41 intersection. No place to be 'gettin' on it', so I wonder what really happened?

My state, NH, still does not have a mandatory seat belt law (except only for minors under 18) due to the "Live Free or Die" mentality that the state cannot tell you what to do. The state has tried to pass it several times but still gets voted down. If people would only see the senseless loss such as this when someone is not wearing one they would not be so stubborn.

Agreed. The fact that the mentality here is that seatbelts should not be a requirement shows that stupidity is common. Driving on public roads is a priviledge that needs to be regulated. I for one do not want to crash my car when I swerve to avoid some dimwit who just got ejected from is car.
