What can a LS6 block handle?

How much power/ cubes can a LS6 block take? What is the block limitations? Bore/Stroke/Power....

Honestly, I've never heard of someone splitting the block. My old stock-block engine was at ~650rwhp and is still going strong with a new owner. We have a local guy with a KenneBell and forged internals in a stock block with over 700rwhp. I'd be more concerned about clamping force than actually puking a LSx block until about 800rwhp.

We've made over 1000 RWHP with a LS6 block and a stock crank. It ran a couple of seasons like that.

How far you can go has a lot to do with the setup and the tune.
