Mirror seals
Do somebody use the mirror seals when washing the Corvette ?
does it work well ? are you happy with the result and does it really not harm or scratch the paint finish ?
Thanks for the info.

I bought a set and used them once. Have to clean the outer surface of the mirrors first and one side did not fit very well (on mine) - other than that, they do keep the water out.

I bought a set and felt that they were way too tight feeling on the mirror and felt that they might do more harm than good. Never used them again.

I've sometimes used a large zip lock baggie over the mirrors to keep water out. I clean the mirrors last with a damp towel.

Thank you very much guys for your answers, it looks like I will not use it as well.
I'm going to try the solution proposed by hotwheels57.

When I wash the car, I use a leaf blower to get the water out of joints, emblems, fuel tank door etc as well as blowing the water out of the mirrors. Better than a shower cap!!
