Default Paint problems...need some imput

Well last week I decided to paint the calipers using a can of red caliper paint and it seems that some of the paint made its way to my black fenders. The paint isn't all that noticeable however in the sun, you can defnintely tell i messed up. I've searched google and all it said was use paint thinner. Well I'm pretty reluctant to put paint thinner on my car so thats out unless all other options fail. I've tried to wax it and it doesn't help much. So if some of you detailing gurus can help me out I'd really appreciate it!

I think you are talking about the outside of the fender right. If you have wax under it, use Dawn dish washing liquid to remove wax, overspray should come off wih the wax. If this does not work use a swirl remover, that should do the trick. If in the wheel well area paint over it. Next time use a brush.

You can try a claybar as well. One of my Miatas was downwind from a house being painted, and I had flecks of paint all over the car. The claybar worked quite well. When you're done, slap some wax over the area and you're good to go.

WD-40 will more than likely get it off. Oh and next time mask everything off really well.

Get hold of some Mothers, Pinnacle or Zaino clay. They are formulated with more "shearing" action, are not as soft, and have a better ability to strip off the paint.

If the traditional clay bars don't do the job, try some Turtle Wax Liquid Ice liquid claybar. Best stuff I have ever used. Took stuff off regular, human claybars could not even phase. I know, I know - Turtle Wax. But, hey, the stuff rocks. Saved me from a butt-whippin'.

Just use paint thinner. I've done it to plenty of cars with road paint on them and never once hurt the underlying paint.

that a claybar should do the trick. Good luck getting the paint off.
