No sample but I put mine on on sunday. You can hear it sucking the air if you put your ear up to the intake ducts with the car running. No noticeable sound otherwise. If youre still shopping around I'd suggest something other than a vararam, ie calloway honker or any intake which gets air via a cut in the shroud, unless you're going to be spending a lot of time at the track. dont get me wrong, the vararam is a GREAT product. but its quite the install as far as intakes go. if youre just looking for a lil more power for your daily driver i dunno if its worth all the trouble. either way, good luck!
yeah i hear u..i heard its not the easiest to install. its alot of work..
didd u install it yourself? or did u go somewhere to get it installed. if so how much did it cost?

Ive done it twice. First time with a good friend who is now a SAE certified mechanic and it took 2-3 hours and even he said it was a of an install. I did it mostly myself the second time with the help of a friend at the end and it took an entire afternoon...due partly to the fact that i definitely am NOT a SAE certified mechanic. If youve got two people working on it the entire time its not ALL that bad...but still way more laborious than most the other intakes out there. That being said...I've had them on both my vettes and still think theyre a great performance product. The directions I got with mine were less than great so get some DIY directions off the forum so youve got something to double check against. If you decide to go ahead with the install feel free to shoot me a PM with any specific questions. Good Luck!
yea i did my first one by myself in 2 hours and i havnt really used a wrench all that often in my life
its really not that hard
but for the sound, ill try to get one for you....if your giving it very little throttle and keeping it constant while your moving youll hear a preety loud whistle noise, and when you tap the throttle youll hear a loud sucking noise that can be heard from a preety far distance, wether your moving or at idle

If you use the step by step instructions from Cajundude it's pretty straightforward
with Allzwell. Get Cajundudes step by step with picture instructions and you will have more confidence. I've done two and it makes a great difference in throttle response.
The vararam is the best performing intake, hands down. Don't expect and increase in dyno numbers, but expect 2-3 tenths quicker in the 1/4 mile. I can't hear mine though because of my headers and catback lol.

Another vote for cajundude...Install wasn't that bad and results are great. Mine sounds great at WOT on the highway. I can't wait to get to the track....
