I was told that GM changed the material they used for C5 convertible tops during the C5 production run. Does anyone know what year the change was made? Thanks

Found my answer...thicker vert top material starting in 2001...

They were changed in 01 but for those with earlier models, you get the upgraded thicker twill when you replace it with a new one
