Has anybody used the DOT Toyo R888s for the street? Impressions, etc. I drive about 1-2k a year, and have 477RWHP. Almost never in rain, as it's very dry here. I'm kind of limited in tire choices because of my 18/19 fitment.

When we were still in World Challenge we had to use the RA1, but the R888 was just about to hit the track for this year. From most of the teams, it was not as sticky as the RA1.
The Toyo R888 is probably the only DOT competition tire you'll find that offers a 19" version. Nitto just released a 20" in their 555R2, but they skipped the 19" size.

I have these on my 620rwhp TT Z06. These are the best tire for the money in my opinion. I have about 1200 miles on them so far and they still have plenty of tire. I was having terrible traction issues but these have made a big difference. I can actually get 3rd gear to hook now. And 2nd gear is 10 times better.

I will buy these again without a doubt.
Thanks, very helpful information. Mine would probably hook in first, then, with much less power than yours.
