Can't help you locating a shop where you are, but here in NC I've had two fellow members of my local corvette club have paint jobs, one spent $3200, and the other is about to spend $8000, so there can be a wide difference between what different shops charge. (For what it's worth, the $3200 paint job looks awesome, if I was the guy that was about to spend the 8K, I'd have a re-think on that idea)
Here on the island of Oahu I have had quotes from $4k to $8.5K. Best advise I had came from a "friend" that owes a shop. "Drive the damn thing and save your money. It's a daily driver for Christ's sake!"
From reading a lot of posts on here and speaking to a shop locally, I found the big difference in price can be whether the car is painted in one piece or the panels are taken off to be painted.
Allegedly, a panels off paint job looks much better than with the car altogether. I've never seen two side-by-side.
A good local shop here did a panels off paint job on a Z06, with an expensive custom color, and the cost was $10,000.00. It did look awesome.....!
I did a two-part paint job on my DD for $1600.00 with a lifetime warranty against fading and pealing. While it looks good, it wouldn't be good enough for the vette...

A good shop can get an invisible paint job with the panels still on the car but it will be expensive. For a color change obviously the panels must come off. Too many variables for someone to say what it is going to cost on here. Go to a reputable shop in your area and get an estimate, they are free. BTW a good paint job will probably be at least 4k+ and ive heard alot of color changes are in the 10k+ range for a vette

I just had my wife's car repainted in May. I paid my painter $3K, which included a new front bumper cover. It was painted the same color, and he told me that changing colors would probably be at least twice that. He did a great job and I was very satisfied with the price.
