lambo doors..

lambo doors..
first off, let me say this..

But the car that im looking at online at the auction site has them.. The car has every other mod that im looking for and is really clean..
Does anyone else have them? Are there any structural issues involved with this mod?
He says you can still open the doors to a certain point before they raise so I guess you can still get in and out of the car like normal without looking like a teenager in LA.

I saw a poster that said.........
"LAMBO DOORS"
"So old , lambos dont even have them anymore"
and then it had a picture of a gas station and a brand new lambo and a civic with lambo doors. the new lambo I guess doesnt have those style dors anymore
I personaly like em............... its all an opinion, im sure some people will complement you and some people will make fun.. but I guess if you dont like them get rid of them. im sure someone will like them and pay good money for them on e-bay or here

If you do get the car and really dont like the doors I would let go of my hinges and help you remove the lambo doors. I live by lakeoverholser in okc and it looks like you live by grand lake. Maybe this helps, lemme know.

GBVette has them and theyre very well made. He has the vertical door kit. Some kits may be el cheapo, but the LSD vertical door ones are OEM quality. It may not be for everyone, but I have to say they really fit on Garys show car.

The doors are great for shows and I have won 9 of 14 shows ive been in. Just a side note several other car makers use lambo style or scissor doors as a standard feature. Here is a list of a few of them. I guess they are refered to as lambo doors because lambo was the first to do them. Mecedes used gullwing doors a long time ago but most people only remember them from the delorean. The cars below are all built with these type doors and are not add ons.

Doug, you're killing me. I just put my LSD hinges on with Gary B.'s help. I love them and the way they are made. They are reversable and no problems once mounted and adjusted properly. You can open them normally as well. To each his own as they say. I have always liked the way they look on a Corvette. Go for it if you like the car.
