Default Help--- CD Changer installation

I'm trying to install the OEM 12 disc changer. I can only find the 4 wire plug in the foot well. I don't think a 97 has a 3 wire plug so I may have to hard wire into the fuse box. Can anyone help me with the correct wires to cut to connect the COR-HAR cable . Photos would help if available.

I don't think the 97s came pre wired to the foot well without the 12 cd option. My 01 came wired to the foot well from the radio and did not come with the 12 disk cd option. You may have to remove the radio and connect to the back.

Here is a pic of what I connected to in the footwell.

Good luck

You are right. The 97 does not have but one plug. I think I read where you can use that plug and hard wire the other connector behind the fuse box. I'm not sure what wires behind there I should splice in to.
