Brother, as we get older, perhaps wiser even, the trueism
becomes self evident, it is what is inside that trully counts in the long run. Without substance of a good heart there probably would not be "in the long run". I have been with my share of lookers, even the physical part can tire with repetition. So hard to find a good match, the so called soul mate. I wouldn`t care if someone I admired/loved worked at Taco Bell or was CEO of a fortune 500 company. It is the vibrant soul, that is the connection that really counts.

Then again, if I won the Lottery, FAST cars, FAST women and plenty of GOOD booze and the rest,,,,,,, I would spend foolishly !

Jez kiddin, again to those that have a stable fullfilled marraige, good for you !

I've had different experiences with different cars. I had a Subaru Impreza that was Ralley Blue with gold wheels, girls loved that car, then in my 81 Camaro, the Cougs loved that thing, and in my 66 Chevelle, it's just old guys that look. I've only had the Vette a month so I'm still trying to get a feel for what demographic checks it out the most, but as for now, it seems to be all over the map. I think it also depends on where you live because you don't see a lot of vettes in Saskatoon, (pop 220,000) where in Vegas, where I bought it, it seems like people notice Vettes, sort of like how we take notice Mustangs here.

I have girls looking and commenting on the car all the time the problem is either they don't know what kind of car it is or they don't care, it's the lines and shape that attract them. I hate the "what a cute car" line. My response is, "puppies are cute this car is ****ing awesome". I live up north in Canada so my lifted 1 ton diesel 4x4 gets just as many if not more wet panties.

After I bought my C5 'Vette, I'd stand a few dozen yards away just to see the reaction the car got from passers-by. Turns out that young women (and most of the young men) just walked right by without so much as a glance.

It seems that the most attention my car got on the street was from middle-aged men.

So here's my advice to middle-aged women seeking attention from similarly aged men:

Buy a 'Vette. And bring a pry bar.

They do, and even more important, the SHOES. A great looking guy in tattered dirty shoes, no dice. A quy in expensive italians, game on.

sadly, the vette only gets attention from 1) young kids 2) old dudes 3) other corvette forum freaks

Of course this is in SoCal near Malibu. It pretty much takes an exotic to get a girl going around here. Your mileage may vary.

I've had some interesting conversations at stoplights and in parking lots. And even had a couple women speed up to get next to the car and then roll down their window to talk.

Two quotes to think about...

"Vettes get em wet"
-guy on the forum

"The only people that think fighter pilots are cool are little boys and other fighter pilots"
-F-14 Tomcat Driver

The first is true at times...trust me ...but if you dont have a little humility about driving a vette the second applies as well.

Boys, Boys, Boys..

Not ALL woman care about what kind of car you drive, or
how much money you have in your wallet, or what kind of
watch your wearing...

That being said, my BF drives a jeep cherokee.. and let me
tell you, it wasn't his car that attracted me to him..

Driving a corvette will get you some attention thou.. it's
all in how you react to it

Do not let those two guys fool you. In my part of the world there are guys like that who could pull more money out of their pocket then I could out of the bank.

My wife likes her Civic more than my Vette. At least she realizes how much I love it.

Throw a set of CCW's on the Vette and it will really get attention. This is what I did. Before I put the 19's all around, My Vette really didn't get that much noticeable attention, but with the CCW's on I have a lot of people looking at it driving down the road or just parked.
