Hi Guys,

I ran into some issues with my credit card clearing company on round 3 payments such as some of them never made it into my account which was their issue in routing. That has been fixed and I will be call ing people tonite and can process CC's again now. Sorry for the delay, I also wanted to give Jon a break. I also needed to work with the manufacturer on a few things that came up after this modification which had nothing to do with the mod itself. Was working out ways to get single pieces out if need be etc...

Simmuh dun nah The thread was probably started this way because there have been about 3 or so threads about this modded taillight already.. A lot of the people like myself followed the previous threads as the slots to buy these fill up fast...

I slid into the last slot of the third round and these lights are so worth every penny... I would post pics but my car is at a friends shop on car jacks

This was the first mod I installed on my 02 coupe. (got in on the first round...) WARNING!! this stuff is ADDICTIVE!! You'll be changing out ALL your lights to LED before too long.

Thanks to Jon for looking at my light, it apparently turned out to be a slightly bent lead on the plug itself. To be sure, Jon graciously took the light apart, verified all was well there too and then shipped it back. Works perfectly.

The bulk shipment for round 4 has begun!!! Jon (koldnrg) should be getting the tail light sets on the 28th. It should have been sooner but UPS has a misque so they were delayed slightly.

7 sets are sold and I have 1 extra going to Jon in case one of you on the fence guys steps up.

The body shop that I work with for the Euro company I am a Director at is doing a set of Cayenne GTS tails for me. I discovered the PPG method and I want to see how these come out. I usually use Tyler@Stealth Vettes but if I can have my guy do, it makes life easier etc... It is a mix of ppg base color and clear reduced a bunch using .25 oz of base to clear. So now I am thinking about tinting to match exterior colors other than black. I don't know how it would look, I am going to have my stock tails done in some c5 color for the hell of it. I will see how the Porsche tails come out tomorrow, Jon should be getting the pallet shipment today.

Hey guys, just a quick update, been way busy at work with the Labor Day weekend, and the arrival of all the college students back in town. 20+ hours of OT in the last 2 weeks. I should have 3 sets done by tomorrow. I plan on having them all completed and shipped by friday.
