I bought my C5 as a weekend car. It's so much fun to drive and since I don't drive it that much every time I get into it it feels like I'm driving it for the first time. I'm pushing 17k but it still looks brand new. Sometimes when I look at this car I think, wow, this is a piece of art. I love to look at it as much as I like to drive it. Please don't make fun of the fact that I would like my pewter C5 to stop aging and look just as beautiful in 20 years. Alas, it will indeed age and break down on occasion and I will be sad one day when we have to part.

I really don't think they will appreciate in value very much, but I do think the styling of the C5 will be well received in the future. It just has some classic lines IMO.
I'm sure your 77 is not junk, I should have choosen some better words.
I lived through the 70's and the American cars left a lot to be desired in the HP and quality control departments. They did however carry the flag and keep the name badge going. The flowing styling has grown on me through the years also.
