I think you sticker haters are missing the point. I don't like the sticker either but this car is for advertising for the company. it's not like they have 50 different stickers on the car. do you automatically think 'rice' when you see a fed ex truck with a giant fed ex sticker on it??? I doubt it
I do love the flat black and without the sticker, the car looks really bad ***!!
looks like this video is about split right now. Half like it, half don't.
For me, not a fan of flat black paint, makes the vette look just unpolished and "just another car". My whole thought when it comes to vettes is awesome paint jobs and beautiful cars. As far as the power goes, I have no doubts that this supercharged vette is putting down at least 500RWHP, but after watching that video, all that HP won't do a thing if you can't put it down to the rear wheels. When it comes to power in a vette, I would of rathered seen a 1/4 mile or even on the road run. Any vette can do a burn out...so sorry Iam not impressed.

If I see a Fed-Ex truck I know it's a delivery company. I'm pretty sure they even have the website and phone number on the side of the trucks. What is Insane? Seriously... I looked for a company called Insane and came up empty. What good is advertising if nobody knows WTF you are trying to sell?
Assuming it is actually advertising... (Unless it is a track car whose sole purpose is to advertise) put a sticker on the windshield, on the back window, a smaller one behind the front tire... anything except the whole side of the car!!!

But you have too look at how much commotion that one sticker is causing just on this forum. I dont think one little sticker on a window or behind a fender would get it talked about like this
I find it interesting how much emotion these cars stir up inside of us .
I applaud the guys who built that car for daring to be different. At the end of the day a Vette is still just a car, and the owner should have the freedom to make it his car by modding how he wants too
Personally, I really like it. The sticker's I could do without but I completely understand the advertising purpose for the magazine shoot.

It looks like crap and isn't that fast, so what are they advertising... bad taste?

How do you make that assumption? Isn't that fast??
And I think EVERYONE or at least most of the people on this forum are missing the point behind this vette.... It's not built for SHOW guys.... it's built for PERFORMANCE. It's obviously a shops vette and they put their time and effort into building up the pure performance out of this monster. With the body they didn't go with some bright colors or stripes to make this thing stand out visually... they obviously don't even want it to stand out much at all going with the flat black paint job (not primer). Along with the body not sticking out at first sight they threw their Businesses(?) Name on the side of it for recognition and credit where it's deserved. Personally if I had a shop that did insane engine work and could create a power house like this thing I would throw a decal on the side in huge letters showing off my shops name.
To each his own but I think the whole perception of "rice" or "decals" taking away from this vette is completely besides the point. I don't see any fart cannons, 4' high spoilers, stickers all over the damn thing such as NOS, NOPI, Eurolite, Chinese symbols, and all clear euro tail lights? I'm sure the magazine article with feature plenty of pictures showing burnouts as well as track times and pictures with that decal backing the name of who put the work and money behind all power this vette has. I know members of other forums full of enthusiasts and the most widely known members with the most "stand out" work such as body work or engine performance are usually members who have a businesses decal or logo either across the window or body. They helped promote the shop that did the work and got great benefits from doing so.
