Default Good corvette vendors,

Often we hear of a bad transaction of a fourm member and a vendor or something to that effect. Well I order two seat covers/terry cloth seat towels from Mid-America Motorworks and they came this morning. They are nothing special, justa terry cloth towel that loops over the seat back and saves the leather seats from sweat, dirt and other containments. But there was only one in the box! I called and questioned why, the man said I had only order one? so i made a mistake and I said so and that I'd like another gray one for the passenger seat. he said fine and said that since I had wanted two, but only ordered one, he'd send it off and Mid-America would cover the shipping. Now they didn't have to, but that's good customer service.I've dealt with a lot of vendors while I restored my other corvette, and I have to say Mid-America is the best I've had in customer service. Good Deal Mid-America!

I've ordered a lot of things from Mid America and they have outstanding customer service.

Now, you will find a few members that have had bad experiences but that is unusual. Mid America tries to take care of their customers and does a great job!

No problem here either with MidAmerica.
Eckler's is what happens when you let siblings breed. Shameful experiences on the forum written about them.

I live about 100 mi south of them and while in a rush job last year getting my shark ready for a club trip to Bowling Green Called in several days in a row small parts orders that popped up last minute. Orders were in before noon ,processed that day and arrived the next day on regular ground shipping. I did not pay any "rush" shipping charges,,just good service! They are a little pricey on their items but the only vendor that throws a big free party for owners with their "Fun Fest"!!

Default problems with vendors post

I think that everyone has the chance to screw up once, but in todays marketplace every vendor is trying to cut costs and increase business, they ship work overseas and of course quality slides. But when their dealing with Corvette people or Porsche folks are not redular isn't just customers, their quite knowledgable about their cars and what is quality and what isn't. Corvette owners don't want to order something and have it turn out to be well, Less! They fail to adhere to three very basic tenants, Inventory, quality parts and top flight customer service. Corvette people demand it and won't be fooled by anything less. And unfortunately this corvette market segment is mostly run by word of mouth. So ever timesomeone like ecklers or corvette central doen't do right by folks it costs in the worst place, Sales! hopefully they'll learn and correct your problem as show the rest of us to trust them.
